About

A small practice. A specific job.

Less Work is a small practice that helps founder-run businesses turn modern AI into actual operating leverage. Productized engagements, named outcomes, fixed prices, delivery measured in days. Built by people who spent years inside companies growing faster than the operations holding them up.

What we do

We sit next to operators who already know what's slowing them down, figure out which slice of the current AI and automation stack actually helps, and stay around long enough to make sure the fix sticks. Not a stack pitch. Not a strategy deck. One workflow at a time, shipped on a deadline.

The patterns we ship are the same ones every founder-run business runs into. After-hours leads that go dark. Sales calls that never make it into the CRM. Recall lists that nobody finishes. Mondays spent reconstructing what last week looked like. We move that work off the founder's desk and into something that runs without anyone holding it up.

How we got here

Less Work was founded in 2025 by Endre Adam, after six years inside Klara, a patient communication platform that scaled into an acquisition.

What was visible from the inside: AI tools shipping every month, almost none of them landing in production. Not because the tools didn't work. Because nobody had the room to take one from "interesting" to "running."

The bottleneck was almost never the technology. It was that nobody had the room or the mandate to take a tool from "interesting" to "running at 9am on a Tuesday." Smaller companies have that exact same gap, with less budget and more freedom to move. This practice exists to fill it.

Before Klara, the operator path ran through about fifteen years of product, engineering, and ops work. The early years at Starschema (before the HCL acquisition), then running StreamBright as an MVP shop that turned into an embedded development team for larger clients. Inside-the-machine work, agency work, and operator work, in roughly that order.

A note from the founder

After years inside fast-growing companies, one thing kept showing up: the distance between "this AI tool looks interesting" and "this AI tool is doing the work on a Tuesday morning" was almost never about the tool. It was about whether anyone had the room to make it real.

Less Work is the practice that closes that distance for smaller companies. Less budget, more freedom to move. If that sounds like your situation, the simplest way to start is a 30-minute call.
